Avery Rissling is a Program Manager at Miller Center for Social Entrepreneurship located at Santa Clara University, where she manages operational and administrative aspects of alumni opportunities, creates new resources for alumni social entrepreneurs, and supports curriculum development of social enterprise training content. She holds a B.S. in Political Science and B.A. in Theatre Arts with emphasis in Dance, with a minor in Women’s and Gender Studies, from Santa Clara University. Her passion for social entrepreneurship began with her time as an undergraduate student assistant and then Fellow at Miller Center, and her dedication to gender equity and climate activism inform her work. Avery’s other passions include creating performance art with her theatre and dance company, as well as drawing and painting.
