Announcing Miller Center’s New Internship Program

Blog

Miller Center for Social Entrepreneurship is committed to Santa Clara University and its students. We have embarked on a comprehensive strategy to broadly infuse social entrepreneurship, and its concepts, into the DNA of the University. Our overarching goal is to engage 500 students a year through our programs and partnerships across campus.

Part of this strategy is our newly launched Internship Program. The program has been created to provide exposure and access to the field of social entrepreneurship for more Santa Clara students. It is thoughtfully designed to provide meaningful work opportunities and create a deep engagement and value exchange between Santa Clara University students and social enterprises accelerated by Miller Center.

The Spring Quarter 2021 internship program is successfully underway.

We are currently recruiting students for the Summer 2021 internship program.  Interested students can register interest here.

“I have enjoyed working with the LivelyHoods’ team in Kenya. Tania, the cofounder, has been very generous with her time and bounty of knowledge. She has patiently worked with me through the grant writing process and allowed me to broaden my understanding of social enterprises. Her dedication to the LivelyHoods’ mission is admirable, and I am grateful for this experience.  As LivelyHoods looks forward to exciting new business opportunities, I hope to have further opportunities to work with the Miller Center.”  – Margaret Stephens, Santa Clara University MBA Candidate, Class of 2023 & BA Class of 1988
